ADMISSION

  1. I) PROCEDURE: *

All the admissions of B.A./B.COM. programme for FY/SY/TY will be accepted through Samarth portal.The dates of admission will be intimated on the college website https://www.mescollege.edu.in/. Each candidate applying for UG program is required to register only once on the Samarth portal. Candidates can apply to any number of colleges and programs of their choice. Candidates can apply to multiple programs in same college as well.

  • Undergraduate Programme – Arts & Commerce Semester I & II

The admission process will be managed in online mode through the Samarth Portal of the Directorate of Higher Education DHE, Government of Goa. Candidates aspiring to seek admission should register themselves on the Samarth portal.

  1. The Admission link is available on the college website https://mescollege.edu.in/ and Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) website https://dhe.goa.gov.in/
  2. Gmail ID is mandatory to begin the admission process.
  3. The following documents are required to be uploaded during the admission process: –
    1. A passport size photo of the candidate and signature of the candidate (not exceeding 1 MB and in .jpg format).
    2. Scanned copy of original marksheet of SSC/ Equivalent examination
    3. Scanned copy of original marksheet of HSSC/ Equivalent examination
    4. Scanned copy of original Leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate
    5. Eligibility Certificate (in original) issued by Goa University (for those students who have passed standard XII or any other equivalent examination through any other recognized Board other than Goa Board, if applicable)
    6. Scanned copy of original Caste Certificate/Physical Disability/Economically Weaker Section, if applicable
  4. Only students selecting our college as the first preference will be considered while preparing the merit list.
  5. After completion of the online process, students will be called for document verification in the college. The students will be contacted via email and the merit list will be uploaded on the college website
  6. The student has to be present with the following documents
  7. Print copy of online admission
  8. 3 passport sized photographs
  9. Original and photocopy of SSC marksheet/ Equivalent examination
  10. Original and photocopy of HSSC marksheet/ Equivalent examination
  11. Eligibility Certificate (in original) issued by Goa University (for those students who have passed standard XII or any other equivalent examination through any other recognized Board other than Goa Board, if applicable)
  12. Photocopy of original Caste Certificate/Physical Disability/Economically Weaker Section, if applicable
  13. Original and self-attested copy of Aadhar card
  14. Bank Passbook and self-attested photocopy of the first page
  15. Undertaking by the students, Undertaking by the parents, and Undertaking for discipline and attendance (The Undertakings will be given on the day of document verification)
  16. The student should pay the admission fees after the counselling and subject allocation. Fees may differ according to the subjects selected.
  17. Admission will be confirmed only after full payment of fees. Failure to submit the necessary documents will lead to cancellation of admissions

Note: Any change in the admission procedure will be informed via college website. Students are requested to visit college website regularly.

 

  • The Admission procedure for the rest of the Semesters under NEP will be updated shortly according to the ordinance and notifications received from Goa University and Directorate of Higher Education (DHE).

Note: No Student shall be given admission after the date specified by Goa University.
